Fenton Manor Sports Complex is the principal sport, leisure and events venue between Manchester and Birmingham. Each year the centre receives over 700,000 guests, many of which use our pools.
Dimensions Leisure Centre is a family orientated leisure pool, indoor sports hall, gym and spinning studio with outdoor 3G pitches.
Recreation Assistants are responsible for the health, safety and supervision of all pool users. When carrying out duties away from the poolside, the role carrier is required to carry out duties such as cleaning, first aid and setting up equipment as advised by the Duty Manager.
Recreation Assistants should be friendly, approachable and professional at all times as they are often the first point of contact for our guests and visitors.
Successful candidates will be required to work evening and weekends on a rotational basis.
The post holder also require a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent with a history of ongoing training hours if your qualification has less than a year to run.
Candidates will be required to complete an RLSS competency water test prior to being invited to an interview.
This post will also include an element of cleaning and dry side duties, which are incorporated within the shift pattern.
Water Test: These will be held on Sunday, 21 July at 3 p.m.
