|Governors wish to appoint a creative, dynamic teacher of mathematics. In addition to the duties and responsibilities of a standard classroom teachers applicants may in interested in either, or a combination of, the exciting opportunities detailed below.
Applications from a teacher of maths who would like to lead research based projects in school related to mathematics (TLR 3) are welcomed. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about relating research to any area of teaching and learning within their subject area.
Following a successful trial this year, where teaching and non-teaching staff have completed projects in art, PE, English and sciences, governors wish to extend this to mathematics. The candidates would be able to select their preferred area(s) of research and discuss these during the interview.
Alternatively, leaders and governors would like to review applications from an outstanding teacher of KS2/3 to work with our Year 7 and 8 students to accelerate their progress in mathematics through creative and innovative teaching and learning.
This opportunity would suit either a newly qualified or experienced teacher who would thrive in a department open to fresh ideas and imaginative approaches. If you can retain and nourish the enthusiasm of our younger leaners, and find more inspiring and creative ways of getting them thinking about numeracy, then we would like to hear from you.
Application packs are available by email from the Headteacher's PA firstname.lastname@example.org or the school website www.bb-hs.co.uk .
The closing date for this position is Friday 17th May 2019 10am.
