Cannock Chase High School is a vibrant and ambitious learning community. We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist/First Aider with excellent customer service skills, to provide a professional and welcoming service to our visitors, contractors, students and staff, and to work in partnership with staff across the academy to provide the best learning experience for our students. As the first point of contact you will be familiar with the whole school structure and procedures and will confidently answer general enquiries. You will have a solutions focused aptitude and will liaise with colleagues across the school to resolve ad-hoc and specific enquiries efficiently.
The successful candidate will also co-ordinate medical care and First Aid provision for staff, students and visitors to the school, including accurate administrative records of accidents, medication and first aid. You will also be responsible for maintaining medical supply stocks across the school, co-ordination of immunisation programmes, medical questionnaires and assisting in the development of Health Care Plans. You will also work with staff to raise awareness of medical and health issues.
The successful candidate will be part of the Business Services Team and will contribute to developing excellent service provision across the team, for both our internal and external customers.
You will have experience of working in a busy reception or office environment, be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, use Microsoft Office based systems, including Word and Excel. You will be able to prioritise your workload, putting customers first and to work accurately in an organized manner with many interruptions. You will be expected to show initiative and adopt a flexible approach to your work.
