|This is a full time permanent position.
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our strong team of OTs, OTAs and Support Staff.
Working as part of the leadership team alongside other Senior OTs and the Professional Lead OT, you will have responsibility for, and an interest in supervising and guiding a small team of OT Assistants. You will provide professional/clinical oversight of their work, and will also be responsible for ensuring team morale remains high and systems are in place for efficient and effective working.
In addition to your supervisory role, you will carry a caseload of people requiring specialist equipment and minor/major adaptions to ensure them to live safely and independently at home. To carry out your role you will work closely with other Social Care colleagues and professionals from other partner agencies such as Health and Housing.
You will have a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy, state registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) post qualifications experience in Social or Community Care, and good communication and IT skills.
Professional support, advice and supervision will be readily available and you will contribute to developing and promoting the Occupational Therapy service.
