|Fleet Operations & Compliance is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our unique and dynamic team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to ensure the operations comply with legislative requirements. The department works to tight timescales and often statutory deadlines and therefore experience of working within a highly pressured responsive service is a must.
The Fleet Operations & Compliance team is undergoing rapid development towards a more business driven approach and is aiming to increase the services provided.
The department plays an integral part of the Council's fleet operations ensuring legal compliance in all areas. This is an essential function to support the Council in providing the services to the citizens of the city.
The successful candidate will possess a recognised training and delivery qualification, well-developed ICT skills and the ability to interrogate and use MIS systems as a tool in the provision, finance and effective management of the service.
Hold a recognised administration qualification ideally NVQ 2 or equivalent in Business Administration; have experience of working in a Fleet Administration team or similar administrative function within a complex environment.
Have knowledge of statutory requirements relating to drivers, vehicles and plant standard as prescribed by DVSA, DVLA, DSA, DoT, HSE, 'Operating Licensing' and Health & Safety Executive.
